Illinois Department of Transportation selects Axiom’s LearningBay™ for training MicroStation users.

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, USA - Axiom, the world’s largest third-party software developer dedicated to saving MicroStation users’ time, solving their problems and increasing their profitability, announced that the Illinois Department of Transportation (Illinois DOT), an Axiom customer since 1992, recently selected Axiom’s LearningBay for their MicroStation training solution.

Illinois DOT is one of close to 40 DOT’s that have chosen to use Axiom’s products to speed up their MicroStation projects. According to Nigel Davies of Evolve Consultancy, 79% of CAD managers are responsible for providing internal training, while tasked to keep production levels high and projects on schedule. Fifty-three percent of CAD managers rely on users to request training or seek technical support, which means that training often occurs at the last possible minute. Ninety-five percent of CAD Managers perform the actual training. This training is almost always done in addition to their regular workload.
